I think to some degree we all want this new year to start off on the right path. This should make us pause and evaluate, what path am I on? WE are going to spend the next 31 days looking at God’s Word to understand His Mercies are New each day. This January is going to be a month of Spiritual heart cleansing and start the year out on His path He has for us.
Trust with your whole heart…
This means that daily we need to put our own heart at God’s feet. It is a surrender that leaves no room for our own anxiety and worry, but completely entrusts our entire “being” in in God’s Sovereignty.
Do not rely on your own understanding, in all your ways…
Not some of your ways. No a few ways. IN ALL WAYS, know Him! This means we need to admit the existence, reality, and trustworthiness of God. We need to acknowledge Him as Lordship over our lives and to give Him full access to sit on the throne of our hearts. This is where He governs our hearts and walk.
And He will direct your paths.
When we give God our hearts, acknowledge our ways are not His ways, and put Him on the throne, he begins to direct our path.
Which path are you going to commit to? Your own path, or take that bold step with courage and step up on His? This month we will look at 28 verses to help us find renewing and the courage and boldness to step up on the path He has for us.
