We are looking at who we are in Christ and who our Heavenly Father says we are. We have looked at the ways God is faithful and promises to us that He will never leave us, will always protect and provide for us and that we are truly a valued treasure to Him.
Do you ever think about how mightily blessed you are?
This scripture tells us we are equipped and blessed! Amen! Sister, you are blessed in Christ!
Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ,
Ephesians 1:3 AMP
The amplified version translates and commentary states that blessings mean, “enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous – with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of outward conditions.”
Ponder that for a moment.
In Jesus, we have supernatural joy, happiness and satisfaction that can only be found in Jesus and not the world. I loved how the commentator used the words “spiritually prosperous.” Everything starts in the spiritual realm before it takes place in the physical realm. If we are blessed and spiritually prosperous in the spirit, what do you think will take place in the natural world?
Sadly, in this world, we look for validation, temporary joy, success, and other things that do not bring any fruit or value to our lives. When we get ourselves rooted in Jesus, we are already set up to succeed!
Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me.
John 15:4
We are set up to bear fruit in Christ when we remain in Him. We are seen as favored in the eyes of God!
Did your heart just sign a loud Hallelujah! I know mine did! Never let anyone try to talk you out of this truth! There is nothing more that the devil wants than for women of God to not take hold of this amazing revelation and walk in it daily! Sister, walk in the blessing that has been given to you in Christ.
Things to Ponder today:
- What shapes your idea of blessing? Is it biblical truth or truth from the world?
- Do you declare and decree you are blessed or do you believe the lie that God does not bless you and is withholding blessing from you?
- Do you base blessings off of circumstance or do you see blessing no matter what circumstance you are in?
- What encouragement did you hear from the Lord in these scriptures?
