Prayer is life’s biggest time saver!
We need to make sure we never fool ourselves into thinking that change is easy. It is never easy, especially when our choices affect other people. Change means important decisions will be made. It also introduces that terrible mistakes will be made and ongoing consequences. When we make choices without Seeking God’s leadership, we will head toward disaster. When we seek God and request His guidance and commit ourselves to His will, He moves in astounding ways to help us!
How is prayer a time saver?
The Lord knows everything. He knows exactly what we need and He is always willing to answer our prayers with what is the best for us. Spending time listening to Him, receiving His wisdom, and drinking in His presence and power saves us time of making those bad mistakes. We need to learn to be quiet before Him, rest in Him, and allow Him to put an order to our steps. He will keep us from going in the wrong direction or wasting our time doing useless things.
We need to be willing to stop and listen to Him. We need to be ready for Him to make us the most fruitful we can be. No matter what we face, we need to commit ourselves to His schedule, wisdom, provision, and guidance through prayer. This time we spend with Him is an investment we will never regret.
