It Starts Small

Without a doubt, the apostle Paul is the most important missionary of the first century. Paul established new communities. He connected them with old ones. This work proved to be of profound importance for the development of Christianity. Paul traveled extensively across the Roman Empire on his missionary journeys. He founded numerous churches. Paul maintained close relationships with them through his letters. These epistles are not only crucial historical documents but also form a significant part of the New Testament. One such letter is the Second Epistle to the Corinthians. 2 Corinthians is a rich letter. It is complex. This epistle provides deep insights into Paul’s ministry. It also gives understanding into his relationship with the Corinthian church. This epistle was written to address various challenges and issues the community in Corinth faced. It discusses themes of reconciliation and the new covenant. It also touches on Paul’s suffering and apostolic authority. Throughout 2 Corinthians, Paul discusses his struggles. He defends his ministry. He emphasizes that God’s power is most evident when he faces weakness and hardship.

Reflect on what the Lord has revealed to you.
