Well, 2025 did not slow down and we have found ourselves half way through January already! We are going to continue our theme this year and go from 1 Corinthians to 2 Corinthians.

Without a doubt, the apostle Paul is the most important missionary of the first century. He established new communities. He also connected them with old ones. This work proved profoundly important for the development of Christianity. Paul’s missionary journeys took him across the Roman Empire. He founded numerous churches during these journeys. He maintained close relationships with them through his letters. These epistles are not only crucial historical documents but also form a significant part of the New Testament. One such letter is the Second Epistle to the Corinthians. 2 Corinthians is a rich letter. It is complex and provides deep insights into Paul’s ministry. It also explores his relationship with the Corinthian church. Paul wrote this epistle in response to various challenges and issues faced by the community in Corinth. It addresses themes of reconciliation. It discusses the nature of the new covenant. Additionally, the epistle talks about Paul’s suffering and apostolic authority. Throughout 2 Corinthians, Paul talks about his struggles. He defends his ministry. He emphasizes that God’s power is most evident when he faces weakness and hardship.

**Included in this journal are extra pages.  There is a worksheet for the author, Paul.  If you are not familiar with the Apostle Paul, take time to get acquainted with our writer.  There are also two extra worksheets at the end.  One is a summery page and one is a reflection page.  As you conclude your study of 2 Corinthians, summarize the letter to the Corinthians. Reflect on what the Lord has revealed to you.
