When was the last time you dreamed big?

Today we are going to grab a hold of God’s courage and dream big and take the imitative plan practical steps to walk towards your God given future.

When was the last time you dreamed?

Dreaming is a focus of the future. IT sees beyond current circumstances into the possibilities of what could be. We develop various ambitions and dreams throughout our lives. Some are godly and others are more worldly and self-centered. Dreams are pivotal part of the direction our lives take. SO we must evaluate them carefully, and then pursue honorable ones passionately.

Did you know that God has God sized dreams for your life?

If we are willing to move beyond where we are at, He has a dream for your life. A Purpose. A plan to get you there. If we set aside time with Him, He will reveal the direction He wants us to take. God’s dreams are far beyond what we could ever imagine. He will open the door to our dreams if we will submit to His plans and allow Him to lead.

Clara Barton, at a young age, dreamed of caring for the needy. Through a passionate desire to nurse wounded animals and injured pets, she prepared for a life that would be dedicated to serving men, women and families in desperate need.

During the Civil War, Clara risked her life to bring supplies to soldiers int he field. She was a strong-willed, intelligent and determined woman. At the age of 60, she founded the American Red Cross and led it for 23 years. Today, Clara Barton is honored among many courageous women in American History.

Courageously dare to dream by exercising the following:

  • Write. Write your dreams down on a piece of paper and pray over them.
  • Ask. Ask yourself: DO I believe these dreams are the ones that God desires for me?
  • Ask. Ask God for wisdom, discernment, and to reveal His dream for your life.
  • Seek. Seek wise counsel.
  • Set. Set measurable goals.
  • Begin.

God will give us the power to accomplish the things our faith prompt us to do. This is what is meant by “living a life worthy of His calling.”

What dream has God placed on your heart?

Take the first step today toward realizing your dream. Share if with a godly friend and ask them to pray for and with you.
