It Starts Small

What if today I asked each of you, myself included, to do EVERYTHING in Jesus’ name? AND…. with a thankful heart?

This was a challenge from a sermon I heard last year. I remember wondering how this would change everything I did. How might my choices be affected? The Pastor gave this challenge for just one day and to document how it changed the day.

For today…..

What if I ended everything I said with the phrase “In Jesus’ name”?

What if every task I did on my to-do list was approached “in Jesus’ name”?

What if I spent my money “in Jesus’ name”?

What it I used my free time “in Jesus’ name”?

We have the option to invite Jesus into everything we do. Doing all things “in Jesus’ name” transform our ordinary lives in to extraordinary journey filled with potential. All we say and do is a reflection of the most important relationship.

Can I challenge you as the pastor challenged me? Today, do everything “in Jesus’ name”.

• How does this change your attitude and way of doing things?
