It Starts Small

King David was full of confidence that God created him and God had intention and purpose for his life. David said, Your (God) works are wonderful.

DO you look in the mirror and say to God, your works are wonderful?

If not, then what have you allowed to creep in your mind to convince you that you are not a wonderful work of God? Is it listening to lies that you are ugly, your body is imperfect, your hair wrong, your belly is not flat, your eyes are the wrong color, you have freckles, you have scars from motherhood, you are too short, too tall, your teeth are crooked or missing, your too skinny or too fat…. what is it that stops you from seeing the workmanship of God that you are wonderfully created?

What lies have you received about your identity from other people who did not even create you?

Read that question again and I’ll say it a little louder for those in the back.

What have the people who did not create you convince you is wrong about you?

It is important for each of us to agree with what God has said about us. It is crucial for us to know that God created you and that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You have purpose. You have ability and talents. You are gifted. You have purpose. You are unique. There is only one of you.

God took time on YOU, sister! Every single part of you was knit together by the hands of God, Himself. He did not pass the task of creating you on to an angel to willy nilly you together. The God of the universe created you! He knows everything there is to know about you.

I want to encourage you to begin speaking these truths over yourself EVERY SINGLE DAY! Speak them even when you do not feel like it.

We do not walk by sight, but we walk by faith. AT the end of the day, What God says triumphs over what other people have said or are telling you today! Anything that is contrary to the WORD of GOD is a lie! It is a lie from the pit of hell. Rise up today, sister, and confess that you are fearfully and wonderfully made because that is the TRUTH and that will always stand!
