It Starts Small

DO you agree: sometimes in this life, it is easy to feel like you are alone and that no one understands or is there with you.

If you are in the midst of feeling left out or abandoned, rejected or that no one understands, read today’s scripture. That is a pure lie from the devil!

The fact is, Jesus is right there with you in this very moment. Every moment of every day He is with you. When we go through battles, we are not alone! Today’s verse is God letting you know to not be afraid because He is with you. You stand strong and courageous because the King of the Universe, Jesus, stands with you and is for you!

It does not matter what you do, where you go, you are never alone. When Jesus is King of your life and sits on the throne, He is with you in every decision and choice that you make daily. Jesus is not here today and then gone tomorrow. For those who have experienced this in their past this is a hard trust. When others, humans, have abandoned you and throw you out, Jesus was even in that moment. He is always going to be here in the good times and bad times.

Did you know that your circumstances do not scare Him? Why? Because HE is the One who can change them. Do you know He is not afraid of your honesty? Why? Because he has big shoulders! Whatever you are going through, just know that God is with you through it all and He will never leave you!

Things to Ponder:

• What challenges your heart in believing God is always with you?
• What lies about the character of God have you been told by the enemy that have led you to believe you are alone and God would abandon you?
• Am I projecting how others have treated me onto God?
• What encouragement or challenge has today’s verse given you?
