It Starts Small

I was never taught in any church prior to two years ago what it really meant to go to war or battle. IT was glossed over and I believe the legalistic church does this because if we would ever to come to the understanding of the Holy Spirit, and the spiritual realm of war around us, we would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to see through the false religion of legalism. I believe those pastors and teachers intentionally kept people in bondage to rules and ritual as a means of control.

I honestly never knew that demons were all around us. Doing their best to knock us off course, torment us, oppress us and hold us in bondage. I never even truly believed people could be possessed. Sure it happen in the “old days” of the God’s Word….but the two never fit together in my mind. I am not even sure what I thought about evil and demons and demonic forces. It was there but I never knew in great detail how it worked in the lives of people.

God never intended for His chosen to walk on this earth defenseless or weak. This journal series is going to dive into God’s Word and really get up and close with each piece of armor. We are going to look at what our battle stance is and why we are called to stand. We are also going to dive into the book of Psalms and look at God’s position in the battle, who the battle really belongs to and what do we do when we encounter evil.
