God’s Word tells us the name Jesus means “God is with us.”
When Jesus preach the gospel to thousands, God was there.
When Jesus preformed miracles and healed the sick, God was there.
When Jesus calmed the storm, God was there.
Jesus’ ministry was God faithfully pursuing His people by dwelling among them.
God did not leave His people alone in their sin and suffering. He has every right to cast us away for our sin, but instead He draws near to us.
Christmas reminds us we are not alone. God is still with us in every heartache, every backward slide, every painful moment, every joy and blessing, every single moment of every day, God is with us!
We have hope in the middle of our sin and trails because we are NOT alone.
