Where does my strength come from? My strength comes from the Lord who’s presence energizes His work in me.

In our Christian discipleship journey, Christ is our supervisor. He is the Forman. He is the CEO. He not only watches us from afar, He is right here with us in all we do. No matter what we think of our job or those who are in authority over us, we need to give a full day’s labor.

In all we do, our work, our relationships, our hobbies, etc. Jesus is the One we serve. E need to do our very best because the Holy Spirit is present, equipping us and energizing us. we make a terrible mistake of segmenting our lives. We may think that Monday through Saturday we go to work air play and on Sunday we worship.

God did not design life to be lived this way. If Christ is our Savior, we ca not and must not exclude Hi micromanage any part of our life. It is not right to serve and worship Him on Sunday and then meander through the week. We must set our heart and eyes upon Him in everything we do.

No one can serve two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬ ‭CSB‬‬

By setting our eyes and doing our best for Christ while we do through our week, we eliminate the need and temptation to do what we are doing for men. We eliminate the need to be seen by others and the temptation of self worship.

Even if our job is mundane, we still need to look to Him and do our best for Him. Ministry is not just segmented to the inside of four walls. We need to worship God everyday of the week! Monday through Saturday is the opportunity to show our devotion to Him by committing and serving Him With our best work for Him.

knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Do you have a good testimony in the marketplace? Are you know as faithful because you serve God? Does your attitude reflect the joy of Christ in all you do? This is the only way to truly get the most out of all you do!
