Our intimacy with God determines the impact of God in our lives.
One of our greatest needs is to be loved and know we are loved. each of us needs to feel deep dow inside that we are loved, cared for, and that someone has our best interests at heart. This is the design God made us to have. He desires for each of us to know he loves us with a passionate intensity too deep for words.
God had fellowship in mind when he created us. He created us, first to have fellowship with Him, then others. Until we experience the love of God, we can not have a love for others. We experience His love by surrendering willingly to His call to be our Savior, Lord, and friend.
When we received Christ as our Savior, He not only forgave us but also made us into a new creation. The old in us was thrown down into the grave and He washed our spirit clean and gave us a new life! We no longer stand at a distance to God, but we are able to draw near to Him.
There are moments in the long road of discipleship we can feel distant and far from God. If you feel this today, pray that He will draw near once more. God knows our weaknesses, if you tell Him to take control of your life, she will come to you in a mighty way and bring hope and light to your life, no matter how dark and hopeless it may feel.
“Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.”

Trust God today with your right now and tomorrow. Make God your highest priority and invite Him into all you do! He desires to fellowship with you. You once served the world, now you are set free from that bondage and He calls you friend!
