It Starts Small

¹ I lift my eyes toward the mountains.
Where will my help come from?
² My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
³ He will not allow your foot to slip;
your Protector will not slumber.
⁴ Indeed, the Protector of Israel
does not slumber or sleep.
⁵ The Lord protects you;
the Lord is a shelter right by your side.
⁶ The sun will not strike you by day
or the moon by night.
⁷ The Lord will protect you from all harm;
he will protect your life.
⁸ The Lord will protect your coming and going
both now and forever.
Psalms 121:1-6

I just love and treasure all of God’s Words. My favorites come from Psalms. Is this Psalms not a blessing? In the Christian life and journey, God is our refuge! God is our keeper, our constant, and our protection! The Psalmist who wrote Psalms 121 reminds us:

God is the creator of the heavens and earth (v2)

He watches our steps (v3)

NO matter how tired we may be, He will never fall asleep on the job (v4)

In verse 7, the psalmist writes: The Lord will protect you from all harm;
he will protect your life. Praise the Lord Almighty!

Are you feeling like you are losing at life right now? The opposition, whatever it might be, has dealt a substantial blow that has landed hard, but no matter the circumstance remember, GOD is our defender! Put your trust in Him that HIS mighty hands are blocking the shots of the enemy. He deflects the punches of the enemy.

God covers us in a safety net! (v5)

³ But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
2 Thessalonians 3:3

God is our refuge and protector! Run to the Father and he will never abandon you or neglect you! As you pray today, remember the Father and thank Him for being our constant keeper!
